Akhtar Khan
Akhtar Khan is a renowned and respected business performance psychologist, property and business investor, and CEO of a private investment fund.
As a successful business investor, property entrepreneur and published author/authority on mindset, Akhtar’s ongoing mission and commitment are in supporting individuals, entrepreneurs and corporations to break through the upper limits and achieve the impossible at an accelerated pace.
Having had a challenging start in life, growing up in a dysfunctional single-parent family with minimal financial resources, Akhtar discovered that a lack of resources was less critical than a mindset of resourcefulness coupled with a healthy attitude of possibility and good old hard work. With no personal funds, experience, or track record, Akhtar built a multi-million-pound portfolio that generated a six-figure income and allowed him to retire at the age of 37.
Akhtar has completed over 210 property and business deals and is responsible for advising and mentoring countless businesses and private equity funds, including many prominent, well-known experts in various industries.
Akhtar is also a father and philanthropist at heart, and at this stage of his life, he is focusing on legacy and contributing to charitable causes.
Akhtar’s 3 mindset messages:
- Unlock Your Potential: Cultivate a Growth Mindset
- Master Your Inner Game: Harnessing the Power of a Positive Mindset
- The Champion’s Mindset: Unleashing Your Inner Winner
Food
Akhtar didn’t share much about his preferences, other than emphasising that he’s a carnivore with a fondness for meat and fish.
When hosting, I often provide guests the option to share their meal preferences or leave the decision entirely up to me. Those who choose the latter inadvertently set me on a path of culinary discovery— I relish that for its added challenge and creativity.
For Akhtar, I decided on an unexpected choice: Swedish meatballs. Though not the most conventional pick, I had made them before and knew they were exceptional. I thought, “Why not?”—and I’m happy to report that Akhtar thoroughly enjoyed them. I even packed some for him to take home, ensuring he could savour the flavours later as well.
You can find the recipe I used here.
