Episode 4 – Tony Courtney Brown: Founder of Total Body Health clinic

Tony Courtney Brown

Total Body Health, a holistic clinic, came about as a response to a number of health challenges Tony faced in middle age.

Depression, back pain (slipped disk, sciatica and arthritis), a prostate issue, stress, and problems sleeping. Tony was taking 24 pills a day!

After having injections in the back, Tony was told that the only option was to fuse his vertebrae with a small risk of paralysis, impotence and incontinence, or all three. He declined and said it didn’t hurt that much (it did)!.

Tony came across Bioresonance, which not only enabled him to get rid of the pain, pills and 2 stone of excess weight, but baffled his prostate consultant who confirmed he did not have cancer and discharged him to his GP.

The advent of Covid brought the addition of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Red Light Therapy, both helpful with regard to Long Covid, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, injuries, pain and post surgical recovery, even Alzheimer’s.

Total Body Health clinic is on a mission to enable people to make the best choices for themselves to achieve optimum physical and mental health.

Tony’s four key messages:

  1. “The part can never be well unless the whole is well” Plato.
  2. Medical science has made such a tremendous progress that there is hardly a healthy human left” A.Huxley novel “Brave New World”.
  3. Take the rough with the smooth, life is working for you. Look for the good in everything. The body and the world are always seeking balance. For every action, there is a reaction.
  4. There is more to life than meets the eye, question everything.

The food

Tony wanted something light and healthy, so I decided to make Salmon salad with Asian ginger sesame dressing. The dressing is a star alongside salmon (or trout in this case). It has everything to tickle your taste buds and fill your tummy without many calories.

You can find recipe on my beloved Resipetineats website. I also made Chilled Edamame soup, also from one of my favourite Atsuko Ikeda’s cookbooks.
